Had a friend come and visit me on two separate occasions for a couple hours each time, and Sandra told him he needed to check in at the office, couldn't park his vehicle in the campground anywhere, and said if he was going to visit anymore she would need to charge a visitors fee.

I was paying a monthly fee because I am working on a job out in Malakwa. I keep to myself.

Horrible place! Sandra or whatever is a mean person and should be closed... I went over to visit some people and she kicked me out? I don't understand her problem, like she was scared when I went fishing because "I might drown" which would be understandable if the current wasn't so weak. Other than that good park nice people but the staff is garbage hopefully she sees this she will be furious! And Sandra if you are reading this Are place is private property leave(:

The reviewer was never a registered guest but a visitor. Furthermore she was not present the night her partner( the registered guest) was asked to leave for numerous rule violations and threatening our staff with violence. All of our rules are clearly posted and reviewed upon entering the campground. Visitors are asked to check in to give us an accurate head count in the event of an emergency, and no fees have ever been charged for visitation. Our goal is to provide the most fun, friendly and safe atmosphere to you and your families. Refusal to respect our rules and your fellow campers has always, and will continue to result in immediate eviction .

The campground could be a great place if there were different owners.

The guy Mack, twice freaked out in front of my 3 year old grandson. The second time telling my partner to "suck his cock!"

We've been here two years in a row - the new owners had quite a project in front of them when they took it over in the spring of 2015. What a difference this year - all the electrical has been redone, the pool was great, and still reasonable rates. We also love the big open sites with lots of face-to-face sites so you can camp with friends. Great location on the river, and just a couple minutes drive to town and easy access to points east like Revelstoke etc.

I Was told at the beginning one price, then they lowered it, then raised it again because I was using my a/c which I was paying for the 30 amp site.
